Nora IPANGA TOAKILA is the Coordinator of CFLEG ONG, a Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Governance Training Centre based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the city province of Kinshasa. With focal points in the provinces of Sud Ubangi, Maniema, and Equateur.
She has been working for more than ten years in youth and women’s movements and associations as an activist for women’s and children’s rights and is also very involved in issues of inclusion, sexual and reproductive health, political participation, transformational leadership and good governance, culture of peace and citizenship. Not forgetting the fight against unwanted pregnancies.
Hence its membership of networks such as RACOJ, CONAJEFEL, AWLN, CGND.
From 2013 to 2016, she had the chance to work as a Resource Centre Manager and then as an Assistant Programme Officer at The National Democratic Institute (NDI) DRC Office. Nora Ipanga did her primary and secondary education in Kinshasa at the Saint Raphaël de limete college, then she started her university studies at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, Department of Information and Communication Sciences, Option Communication of Organisations at the University of Kinshasa, 2012. In 2018, she obtained a specialization in Public Management from the YALI DAKAR Regional Leadership Centre in Senegal. Since November 2020 to date, she has held the position of National Treasurer within the YALI DRC network (Young African Leaders Initiative). She is also a member of the Young African Leaders Network CPLA (Camp de Leadership Africain). Active member of the CIDE SOLIDARITY DRC group (Competence, Intelligence, Development and Expertise), a human capital development framework since 2018.
